4. How will the school let me know if they are concerned about my child’s progress?

If at any point during the school year your child is identified as not making sufficient progress, the school will set up a meeting to discuss this with you in more detail, listen to any concerns that you may have, plan any additional support that your child may need and discuss with you any referrals that may be desirable to outside professionals to support your child.

If you would like any support or advice as to how you can help your child further at home, our parent support advisor will be happy to meet you for an informal chat. She can also provide you with general information about many SEND issues and about further support that may be available to families in the wider community.
