Class teachers follow inclusive practices and strive to reduce any barriers to learning. In planning lessons they take into account the specific needs of all groups of children in their class and will use their best endeavours to ensure that your child’s needs will be met.
Support staff, under the direction of the class teacher, can adapt planning to support the needs of your child where necessary.
Specific resources and strategies will be used to support your child individually and in groups.
Planning and teaching will be adapted, on a daily basis if needed, to meet your child’s learning needs.
Interventions are planned for children with specific needs which cannot be met within class teaching.
The progress of all children is measured and recorded regularly; and as all provision and interventions for SEND are also recorded on our school tracking system, their effectiveness can be measured and is evaluated regularly.
