Term 1

Friday 30th September

Coffee Morning for Macmillan Cancer Support - This was a hugely successful event and raised over £450 for Macmillan. Thank you to everybody who either baked, bought or sold cakes on Friday. We could not have raised so much money without you. We would also like to say a huge well done to Lucy and Rosie Harris, who held their own coffee morning on Sunday 2nd October and raised over £100! Brilliant!

 

Friday 21st October

Harvest Assembly - The Plymouth Food Bank were delighted to receive 272 kilograms of produce from our families following our Harvest Assembly. Again, a huge thank you for your generosity and kindness. In our Harvest Assembly, we spoke about:

  • H - Harvest and Super Heroes
  • A - Agriculture and how the produce gets to our table
  • R - Rice and Roasts
  • V - Vegetables
  • E - Everything comes from a harvest of some kind
  • S - Sharing - the importance of the food banks
  • T - Being Thankful

Children In Need - A Mufti Day with Donations

Christmas Lunch - A Christmas Jumper Mufti Day.  Donations for St Luke's Hospice

Wear a Hat Day - Donations for Brain Tumour Research

An event to raise funds for a charity chosen by the School Parliament.
