The Friends of Manadon Vale School is a registered charity that was set up in 1988 to provide educational luxuries for the school, which are not normally provided by the Local Education Authority. All the money raised (last year in excess of £5000) is used exclusively for the benefit of the children at Manadon Vale Primary School.
We hold fundraising events throughout the year that enable a huge number of items to be purchased for the school. Our events have included over the years; Summer and Christmas Fairs, the Christmas Draw Evening, Quiz Nights, Secret Santa Present Evening and more recently a Talent Show and a Bake Off.
