Breakfast Club and After School Club

At Manadon Vale Primary School, we provide a Breakfast Club for children who attend Manadon Vale Primary School. The Breakfast Club has been established for over 10 years, it caters for up to 50 children every day and every child is welcome.

We also provide an After School Club which is called the Chipmunks After School Club which has been running since 2010. The Chipmunks After School Club takes place in the School Hall on a daily basis and we offer spaces for up to 30 children every day.

Smoothie Making: A huge thank you to the team from CaterEd for the ingredients and equipment to allow the children to make their own smoothies. As you can tell from the photos in the gallery below, the children loved it and thought that the smoothies were very tasty.

My experience of making a smoothie:

"It was really fun. I made my smoothie with yoghurt, mixed fruit, oranges and watermelon. It was really amazing. We have never done it before. It was really nice to have the chance to make a smoothie. I would highly recommend doing this. I loved it!" Crystal

"It was really fun making my smoothie because I put milk, bananas and some grapes in my pot. I enjoyed pushing down on my pot so that it all got mixed up. It was really loud! When I drank my smoothie, it tasted really nice and I would love to do it again at Breakfast Club." Bailey
