To write a story with clear moods
In this lesson, we will write the ending of our story, the 'Magic Paintbrush, focusing particularly on the mood created.
Mild challenge – Write the ending to the story showing the happy ending- action and feelings.
Say the sentence first, then write it down – remember to use the mood plan from earlier this week.
Spicy and Hot challenge – independently write the ending of the story to show how the mood changed. Describe the happy ending.
Look at the powerpoint ‘What is climate change’
On the worksheet ‘5 ways to help the earth’, draw five ways you can help the earth. Think about things you could do in school or at home. Write a sentence to go with each picture.
