This is our end of unit assessment on multiplication and division.  There is no learning video to go with today’s lesson.  Please have a go at answering all of the questions.  If you are unsure you can always go back and look at the learning videos for that particular question.

Lesson Objective

To write the closing paragraph of a persuasive letter

In this lesson, we will write the closing paragraph of our persuasive letter. We will summarise our thoughts from the whole letter and use some presumption and flattery to help convince our reader. We will use our plan from Lesson 4 to help us with our writing today.

Use the WAGOLL on the video and add some of your own words.

Spicy

Use examples of exaggeration, flattery and presumption.  Highlight these parts in different colours to show where you have used them.

 

Hot

Have a look back through your whole letter and see if you can find a chance to use a semi colon to link to related sentences together.

Today you are identifying and explaining irreversible changes.

Perhaps the most obvious irreversible change is burning material. If you set fire to something you often can't ever reverse that change.
