Word of the Day - Elated

Can you write a sentence making sure you include the word of the day. Spicy and Hot - can you then re-read your sentence and identify the word class of each of the different words you have used.

Activity challenge

MILD - Complete the activities from the main sheet.

SPICY - Complete the activities from the main sheet and then try a few of the challenge cards.

HOT - Complete the activities from the main sheet and then fsee how many of the challenge cards you can complete.

In this lesson we will look at the climax and the resolution of our story. We will look at both parts and write a sentence for each. 

 

Mild - can you write me a compound sentence using the conjunction, and.

 

Spicy - can you write a compound sentence for the climax and a complex sentence for the resolution.

 

Hot - can you write complex sentences for both the climax and the resolution, can one of your sentences have the subordinating conjunction at the beginning of the sentence. Remember to punctuate correctly.

Dance

For a warm up, go on to You Tube and find your favourite Go Noodle. We have been loving 'All I want is pizza' in class! That one definitely gets the heart pumping.

Can you create your own Haka using these movements? Follow these instructions:

 

Use aggressive slaps, punches and fierce facial expressions

Choose 4 different actions and rehearse them in order

Practice them with aggressive and threatening movements
