English
This week we are learning about adding dialogue to texts to make them more interesting.
Today, we are going to be learning about inverted commas (or sometimes called 'speech marks!').
Watch this video How to use inverted commas - BBC Bitesize.
Look at your own reading books and see if you can find examples of inverted commas. Then look at the PowerPoint which has activities for you to do and also the differentiated sheets give more practice in adding inverted commas. You don't need to complete all of the sheets-just choose one. (1 star is the easiest, 2 stars gets harder and 3 stars is the hardest)
Maths
We will doing White Rose Maths Spring Week 2- Multiplication and Division. There are tasks to do during the video and you will need to stop the video to do them.
Science
Our science topic is the human body this term. The Oak National Academy says this is a Year 4 unit however we teach this in Year 3 at Manadon. This video will teach you about what organs are and why we need them.
What are organs and why do we need them? (thenational.academy)
