The Year 4 children have spent the past 3 days visiting and staying the night at Slapton Residential Centre to learn more about the Stone Age. This was their first residential with school and they were all very brave, staying away for the night. Their time at Slapton was extremely exciting. The children built dens, made nets, hunted for (wicker) animals and made fencing to keep their own animals safe. They also lit fires, foraged for food and then did cave paintings in the style of Stone Age people.
