On Friday, 15 children from Manadon travelled all the way to Birmingham to perform in the Young Voices concert at the NEC Arena. It was absolutely incredible! The children joined 6,600 other children in a mass choir, singing with celebrities such as Ruti (from The Voice), The Shires and Tony Hadley (from Spandau Ballet) in front of an audience of 9000. The atmosphere was electric and the children sang their hearts out! Although it was an exhausting trip, the children and adults were exhilerated to have been a part of something so big and it will be an event which will stay with them for the rest of their lives. The teachers were extremely proud of the behaviour, conduct and attitudes of the children who were an absolute credit to themselves, their families and the school.
