We are all spending a lot more time at home at the moment so this could be a great time to learn a language. Many of you enjoyed learning a little Spanish this year so we’re going to practise some of the key vocabulary.
Across the UK, we've been busy creating rainbows, to hang in our windows, showing our support for the NHS and key workers.
One of Mrs Masters' favourite Spanish stories is all about the colours of the rainbow. It is called El Pequeño Pez Blanco.
Listen carefully to Mrs Masters read the story and see if you can understand what’s being said.
Can you create your own pez arcoíris and label it with the Spanish words for the different colours?
Try one of two of the worksheets, for a little more practise.
If you enjoy learning Spanish and would like to keep it up, there are some fantastic resources available online to help you. Have a look on the MFL section of the curriculum page (on the school website) for French and Spanish resources.
Check out the following video on YouTube, for a reminder of some of the basics (you might remember Basho&friends from our Spanish lessons in class - these annoyingly catchy songs get stuck in your head!)
