Summer 2 Week 6 - 06.07.2020

Mrs Ryder's Assembly 6.7.2020

We had some lovely feedback about the English learning from last week. You really seemed to enjoy reading The Owl and the Pussycat by Edward Lear. Because of this, we would like to further your learning in to this poem. This week you will be practicing some more skills that we began in the classroom, e.g. using a dictionary to look up unknown words and writing predictions. This week we will also be introducing you to a different version of this poem by another author and we would LOVE you to try to write your own version. As always ask an adult to take a picture of your learning and send it to us. As a reminder please follow the steps of the learning in order on the PDF as the learning progresses with each step.  Good luck!

Year 4 - Week 11 - Lesson 1 - Identify angles

Year 4 - Week 11 - Lesson 2 - Compare and order angles

Year 4 - Week 11 - Lesson 3 - Triangles

Year 4 - Week 11 - Lesson 4 - Quadrilaterals

When you come back to school next week you will be spending some time with your new teacher in Year 5, (boo hoo) and some time with us and those sessions will be focusing on the year ahead and all of the exciting things that will be in store for you. This week whilst at  home, we thought it would be nice for you to reflect on what has happened so far in Year 4. What have you really enjoyed, what are your favourite memories? Have a go at completing the attached sheet and sending it to us, we will be really excited to see!!
