To write a biography (Part 2)
In this lesson, the children will complete their writing of a biography on Harriet Tubman, who led hundreds of enslaved people to freedom along the route of the Underground Railroad. They will write their third paragraph of the main body and then their conclusion.

All children will need to write the paragraph called ‘Civil War’ and then the Conclusion
Mild
Use the WAGOLLs in the video to help you write the 2 paragraphs.
Spicy
Use the writing in the video as a WAGOLL but try to make your own version of it by changing sections. Make sure to keep your writing formal.
Hot
Write your own version of the paragraphs so as to make it different to the WAGOLL. You might use similar ideas but it would be clearly different.
Extra Hot
As Hot but there would be some really challenging language choices that you have researched.
