To investigate double consonants
In this lesson, we will be investigating words with double consonants and set spelling words to learn. These will be tested on next Tuesday.
Mild - when My Byrne-Smith asks you to write sentences which include an example of words with double consonants for adjectives, animals and verbs please just write one sentence. Also, when Mr Bryne-Smith sets the spellings at the end of the lesson please just focus on the first seven.
Hot - some letters that are doubled are very uncommon such as 'c'. Can you tell an adult two examples of words that have a double c and where they originate from?
