Task

Your spellings are different to the ones in the video but they are still homophones.

Your task it to write a sentence for each word, from your spelling list, to show how it is different to the other spelling.

Mild

Write 4 sentences.  That means 2 pairs of homophones from this week’s spellings.

Spicy

Complete a sentence for each spelling.

Hot

Write 1 sentence that uses both versions of the homophone but still makes perfect sense.  Here is an example using the homophone: knight/night

One dark, mysterious night, a knight in shining armour came hurtling down the track.

Maths

Lesson Objective

Can I multiply 3-digits by 2-digits?

Think about:

Why is the zero important?  What numbers are being multiplied in the first line and the second line?

When do we need to make an exchange?  What happens if there is an exchange in the last step of the calculation?

Firstly you will be describing properties of materials.  Match the characteristics on the sheet.  The video below gives you some more detail on this.

Then you will be testing some of your own materials.  Choose the appropriate challenge test sheet for yourself.

The stars in the corner of the sheet indicate how complicated the work is.
