MATHS - Add 2 or more fractions

Activity challenge

MILD - Complete questions 1-4 and then question 6 on the activity sheet.

SPICY - Complete the whole sheet.

HOT - Complete all the sheet, and then the TRUE or FALSE activity.

Additional challenge - There is an extra sheet this week as some of you found the activities didn't challenge you enough.

VOLCANO - There are two very tricky challenges to attempt. Try the Additional Challenges first though.

English

In today's lesson we will be exploring the character of Jeff in the text.

When you get to the question 'How did Jeff feel about his mistake?' I would like you to stop the video. There are 6 pieces of evidence in that paragraph which give you clues as to how he feels. Can you write me a few sentences answering this question in a full sentence? Sentence starter....I think that Jeff feels...........I think this because......

Mild - can you find two pieces of evidence to include in your answer.

Spicy - can you find four pieces of evidence to include in your answer.

Hot - can you find all six? Because your writing will include more evidence, it will look more like a paragraph. Please don't give me a list, I would like you to write a coherent, well presented argument for how you think Jeff feels.

Science - How oxygen is transported around our bodies

In this lesson, we will learn about the circulatory system. We will also focus on the contents of blood, the types of blood vessels, and how the heart works.

Mild  - when you are asked to fill in the blanks, use the word bank on the screen to help you.

You need this video at around 3 minutess into the Oak Academy video.

Zoom Chat – 4E @ 2:00 - 2:30 4C @ 2:30 – 3:00

You will need to have a few sheets of paper, a pencil and something light but hard you can rest on for the activity. A small book would be perfect! It will all become clear.... :-)
