Wednesday

Maths - Multiply 3-digits by 1-digit

This lesson increases the challenge and uses 3-digit numbers instead of 2-digit numbers.

English

In this lesson, we will investigate how to use apostrophes for singular possession and for contraction. We will practise using them in sentences linked to our Jabberwocky writing.

Computing

You will need to the same software (FMS LOGO or the Logotacular app) or the weblink to Turtle Academy from last week. The links are still in week one should you need them.

Look at the PowerPoint (or PDF) for your instructions. You need to work out how to code your initials in capital letters using the LOGO language. The PDF with the shapes of the letters and an updated glossary, including some new commands, will help with the activity but doesn't need printing.

The activity sheet can be printed but you can just draw the letters on normal paper. Squares may help you though.

CHALLENGE

  • Can you write your full name in LOGO?
  • Write the name of someone in your family.

ZOOM Meetings

This afternoon, at 2:00 for 4E and 2:30 for 4C, we will be having our Zoom calls with you. You can say hi to everyone else that you haven't seen in a while and you can check in on everyone. We look forward to seeing you all.
